Frequently Asked Questions

Is coaching the same as therapy?
No, whilst coaching can be therapeutic, we are not therapists. The role of a Life Coach is to look towards the future, not fix your past.

Can I attend a coaching session with a partner/friend?
Ultimately, that is your choice and depends on what you want to achieve from your sessions. However, we usually recommend individual sessions.

Can I attend a Wim Hof Workshop on my own?
Absolutely, these workshops are for everyone. Many people attend on their own but instantly feel part of the group. Others choose to book with a group of friends - whatever works for you!

Can I attend a Wim Hof Workshop with my children?
We do not recommend children under the age of 16 take part. For more information, see here.

I am pregnant. Can I attend a Wim Hof Workshop?
We advise against practising the Wim Hof Method if you are pregnant.

Can anyone practice the Wim Hof Method?
Every healthy individual can practise the Wim Hof Method. When the WHM is practised correctly, it can contribute to a healthy, strong, and happy life. As breathing techniques and cold exposure can affect the physiology of the body, this can have a profound effect on people in poor health or with certain illnesses. If you are dealing with a serious medical or psychological condition, we advise consulting a healthcare professional before attempting any of the WHM techniques.

We advise against practising the WHM if you are dealing with any of the following:

Coronary heart disease (e.g. Angina Pectoris; Stable Angina)
Cold urticaria
Epilepsy
Kidney failure
Raynaud’s Syndrome (Type II)
High blood pressure (in case of prescription medication)
A history of serious health issues like heart failure or stroke
Shortly after an operation
If you suffer from migraines, we urge you to be cautious about taking ice baths.

We will ask all participants to fill in a health declaration prior to attending a workshop.
