The review that makes it all worthwhile!

The review that makes it all worthwhile!

Brighton is a great place to live, we have the Downs, we have the sea and we have a booming wellness industry.  Gorgeous yoga studios, horse box saunas, treatment rooms - you really can take your pick if you want to invest some time in yourself (as everyone should do from time to time).

However with so many options, why should someone choose what you are offering over what others are offering.  When you are putting workshops on, there is always an element of worry - will people book places,  will everyone enjoy it.....

When the day is over, there is always a buzz - everyone came, everyone enjoyed it, everyone tells you they are going to write you feedback.  Then everyone returns to their normal life and feedback is often forgotten about - something I too am guilty of!

Then something like this pops into your inbox and hits you with a "WOW - this is why I do what I do"... this type of feedback is what makes all the planning, designing, booking, marketing, worry worthwhile:

"I came to one of your day long fundamentals courses and I wanted to share with you the impact I think it has had on me. You may remember that I've recently completed treatment for cancer. I also have a young son with severe food allergies which has been the focus of a lot of my anxiety.

After the course, I decided to take him out for a meal in a restaurant and we did, successfully, that night and two more times since. I've also tried some new food at home. This would have been unthinkable for me before. We have only eaten out with him twice since we found out about his allergies, so three times in a month is extraordinary for me.

The experience of doing the cold water immersion was quite emotional for me because through the cancer diagnosis and treatment, I have viewed my body through the prism of lacking, problems and failing. In those moments in the water, I felt capable and as though my body could do incredible things. I actually recognised that it had sustained me through very difficult times and was strong. I felt grateful and that moment of connection was very healing.

I have bought one of those little plunge pool things and plan to get going with that soon. I've also made the decision, since the course, to take some time out from my very stressful job and look after myself a little"

So thank you, to all of you that come on my workshops and thank you for making my day with this feedback!
